Praise for Baker’s fiction focuses on pace, readability and humor. As one reviewer put it, "Patriot Acts is a whirlwind ride through the legal system....onward toward justice with a clever, stinging wit." — Jill Schacter, author of "The Heartbreak Diary"
After writing one of the best new legal thrillers in years, Baker follows up "Patriot Acts" with a collection of short fiction that concludes with a novella, "Everybody Gets A Chance." The book, showcasing Baker’s sense of humor and his insight into what it takes to survive in the scrambled world of America today, offers a unique, entertaining page turner about everything from following youthful obsessions, to dealing with crackpot terrorists.
